I woke up craving pancakes, and a complicated recipe was not calling my name. Instead of heading for the prepackaged pancake mix, I whipped up this recipe in no time. You almost definitely have all that you need and you can customize it however you’d like!
Yield: about 9 small pancakes
Time: 15 minutes
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup almond milk
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp baking powder
- dash of salt
- half scoop of protein powder (optional)
- Throw all ingredients into a bowl and stir to combine. Cook on medium-high heat for about 2 mins, then flip and cook other side until golden.
- If you would like an added boost of protein, add any protein powder of your choice! For toppings I added vanilla greek yogurt and warmed natural peanut butter!
