Easy Energy Balls

I’m always on the look out for new and different ways to make energy bites,  but sometimes you just need something quick and easy. These energy balls are super customizable and they’re so good you’ll probably end up memorizing the recipe!


  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup any nut butter (I used Buff Bake’s Chocolate Chip Protein Peanut Spread to get that chocolatey taste)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

*If you have the basic combination of oats, nut butter and honey, you can play around with the rest of the ingredients


  • Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl, using your hands to make sure everything is combined

  • Let the mixture sit in the fridge for about 20 mins to firm up
  • Roll the mixture into balls, I made about 14 (if the mixture is too dry and crumbly, add some more honey)
